Pieces may be made in Yellow/White/Rose Gold, Silver, Copper, Brass, Bronze, Aluminum, and Steel. All metals used are sourced from green companies that refine and recycle their metal product. All metal scraps and dust created while working are collected then recycled. Old gold or silver jewelry may be melted down to create a new piece.
Lost Wax casting
First a wax or CAD model is created of the project. Lost wax casting is a method of metal casting in which a molten metal is poured into a mold that has been created by means of a model. Once the mold is made, the model is melted and drained away. A hollow core is left for the molten metal to fill. After metal is poured, mold is quenched in water, disintegrates, and leaves behind the metal copy. If there are multiple copies required of the design a second mold will be made to reproduce multiple copies of the wax and the lost wax process will be repeated.
