Casting Services

Welcome to gb’s Casting and Jewelry Manufacturing services ; This service can be used by anyone, however is specifically geared towards Indie Artists , Jewelers and Designers.

Please note every project is assessed individually, pricing is on a sliding scale due to size differences and specific project requirements.

Services offered:

Lost wax casting, This is perfect for hand carved waxes or 3-D models that are printed in a “castable” wax or resin. I do not have minimums you can send me 1 wax model or a handful.

Production casting, any design can be put into production. Maximums vary from project to project. Quantity will likely max out at ~100 units and I can not cast an object larger than 3.8inches in any dimension. 1 single casting weight maximum is 7 ounces .

Mold making, to create multiple copies of any design a silicone / rubber mold is required. I can create the silicone mold for any new designs. If your design has already been produced I can accept your mold use it to and replenish your stock.

Metals available : Brass, Yellow Bronze, Red Bronze, Silver, Yellow Gold, White Gold, Rose Gold, Green Gold in 10k, 14k, 18k.

Finishing services, After casting you can request “Clip only” for no additional fee. Castings will simply be cut from their sprues and tumbled from raw state before returning to you. If desired, I can polish your castings so when they are returned to you they are completely finished and ready for retail.

Soldering and Stone setting , I can solder small componets on to your finished castings like jump-rings or bails. I can also provide stone setting services. I am proficient in pave, bezel, flush, prong, pave, bead & bright , and channel setting. I can source your gemstones or you can provide your own.

Patina or Antiquing : Patina or Antiquing can be added to darken low areas of you castings after finishing. Patina is a more traditional route, adding a dark grey tone to the low reliefs. Antiquing looks almost black to give a deeper more longer lasting blackening to the low reliefs of your casting.
